Living vine - Le vin de Blaise

Living vine

Living vine, of course!

Or should we say living vines and soil. Our soil and its invisible farm workers, to whom the absence of chemistry offers shelter: soil micro-organisms, springtails, earthworms… Vine inhabited by all the flora and the aerial fauna : the yeast already present on the bloom and skin of the grape berry and which will make the wine of the year by transforming the sugar, but also tawny owls, bats, squirrels, toads and frogs, insects and spiders of all kinds, and bees for whom we plant a honeycomb in the rows …

12 hectares of vines, 10 hectares of holm oaks, and a few olive trees.

South of Sainte-Cécile-les-vignes and Lagarde-Paréol.
Controlled designation of origin : AOC Côtes-du-Rhône-villages-Sainte-Cécile and Côtes du Rhône.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault
for the reds
